how do i get the stag

ive made it to island 5 and i know it has something to do with the sign posts, but i cant find the stag, do i have to go back to a previous island to get him? he's so easy to get in two crowns but here it seems so complex.

also how do you beat this game? in classic i just had to destroy all the portals and two crowns go inside the cliff portal and bomb it but here im not sure.

island 3, one of the sign posts on island 3 will unlock it, then you just need to find it's shrine to buy it. To beat the game you need to beat island 6 (I think but I am not sure that you need to beat them all in order.)

okay but i got the sign post on island 3 and i cant find it

The stag can be unlocked at the sign post on island 3. After you unlock it, the appearance of it will be random. So good luck when you leave for the another island. Well, come to think of it, I hardly find the stag too.

In New Lands, you just move on to other island, so you can't really beat that island. Only at the skull island that you can beat it for real. To unlock skull island, just leave island 5.
