Farmers are not working.

I’ve built them a farm
im on day 6 Theres 2 farmer. 1 that goes outside the wall and idle in the grass. and 1 sits in the castle. Why?

Make sure theres enough room around the farm for your farmers to work, trees and walls can prevent a farmer from working

Everything looks clear except the fallen tree on the dog. how do i get rid of it?

And the farming place is also near a bridge. does this effect it?

Yes, bridges can’t be farmed on, but if the other side is clear then both farmers should move there. Is it a level 1 farm, or a level 2 farmhouse?

And for some reason They work on the other side where there isn’t the monster portal. is this a Mechanic of the game?

farmers need level 2 farm and clear space 2 tiles around the central structure.
I dont know if it's a portal mechanic or winter but in one game all farms and grassland ceased working after i destroyed a portal. This was evident from the changed appearance though
