Building Towers & Walls that close to Farms
Does tower and wall stops expand of farm fields if those are on top of your farm fields?

And if so, how can I measure exact length of farm fields to decide if those wall and tower platforms are too close or not?

I researched but couldn't find any information about this.
Thank you.

Walls, bridges, other farms, and trees will prevent a farmer from farming the land. Farms can hold 6 farmers (8 if the farming statue is used) and 2 plots of farming land are roughly the same size as the level 2 farm. Farmers aren’t limited to one side though. If there isn’t room on one side you could have all your farmers farming on the other side. Keep in mind that the this causes farmers to have to walk a bit further to their plot of land so you lose a bit of time between each harvest. In some blood moon or retaliation attacks, the farmers won’t be able to return to the feild before the crops start to wilt and they have to start farming all over again. Farming can be completed in a little over 1 in game day and each plot will yeaild 6 coins when farming is completed. Any character can pick up the coins, archers, builders, other farmers, knights, so if a farmer doesn’t hae 6 coins, this is probably wat happened.

IMO farms aren’t worth the expenses of buying tools, building the farm, and building defenses for the farm if necessary. It costs 59 coins just to get 1 day of an 8 farmer farm (3 level 1 farm, 8 level 2 farm, 8 hire 8 vagrants, 32 buy 8 scythes, 8 activate farmer statue for a day), so that could technically yield 48 coins on the first harvest. And you would have to pay the farmer statue 8 coins every day, or 24 coins every 3 days to keep all 8 farmers. And none of this addresses the time it would take to recruit the vagrants or build the farm. You would still eventually net a profit, but by the time you do, those farming expenses could have finished 1/3 of the boat. And if you did well with your other sources of income, you could easily be on the boat and gone.

TLDR: IMO farms aren’t worth it, just stick to the bunny money.

Thank you for your answer.

You have mentioned about walls, bridges, other farms and trees but you didn't mentioned about towers that on top of farm fields. Should I assume that you don't know about towers?

By the way you might be right about the expenses of farm but in order to destroy farthest portals, I was going to expand my base to get closer. Because I am bit worrying about if I can't get to the portal before end of the day. So if I expand my base, there would be no bunnies left between towncenter to latest wall. So those areas would be okay to use as farming only.

Shouldn't I worry about reaching to the last portal? I'm on 4th island, it looks like pretty big island and I couldn't even see the edge of map by with the white-horse running yet. Can my knight and bowmen reach to the last portal before the day ends?

Towers can be build on farms without any problems.

BTW farmers and bunnies don't exclude each other - bunnies can be hunted outside the walls, while farmers work within the castle, both generate a stable income. Besides I don't like to cut down all the trees and have some variety in my kingdom - relying all on hunters is just too boring.

Yes I agree with you. If I won't expand my Kingdom, what is the purpose of having a kingdom in the first place, LOL. A kingdom without farmers is not a kingdom but a tribe. Even so, I saw there some of the guides suggesting that not to expand but only first two towers and walls in both way and spend everything on bows.

Thank you by the way. I'm happy to know that we can build towers on farms.
