Totally agree with that. Because it would be too easy, I'd like to be able to hire a special builder with a builder icon (I want da golden hammer in his hand though haha) on the castle that you would have to pay 1 coin to follow you (mount your horse like hermits?) then pay to destroy a building depending on its worth, the more you paid to build it, the more you will pay to destroy it. I once built a wall when I wanted to build a portal. I regret doing that.
yeah i once (when i was disoriënted) builded a wall in the middle of nowwhere by accident now all my archers go to that place

Same with having too many archers tied up in guard towers. If you could rip them down as you expand your walls so they could help the frontline that would help a ton :knlhermit3:

Intentionally placing a tower in a certain location and commiting archer resources permantly to that location, is part of the gameplay. Forward planning is a big part of this game. Because placing a tower involves a permanent commitment of resources you have to choose very carefully when building one. If I could tear them down at will, even with a small cost, the decision would be a no-brainer and the relevence of that choice would be removed.

Real choices with meaningfull impactfull decisions and fine-tuned pro's/con's is what defines good games. As such I vote 'no' on destroying something once it has been built.
Yup, that's part of the gameplay. Your choices matter and you'll have to be mindful with the next playthrough.

This isn't what I'm talking about. The only reason to why I'd want to be able to destroy some things is because sometimes, when you get to destroy a portal, a dirt mount (to create a wall) overlaps with a destroyed portal. Because of this, I unfortunately built a wall when I was trying to build a portal (which is outside of the walls) and so my defence front got further and almost unprotected (lvl 1 wall). Note that this is not a complain that I'm doing. Still, it happenned to me twice and I managed to still take my take to enjoy the land I was on. But yet, I feel like there should be some way to avoid this. The portals often overlaps with other buildable places and it is very bothersome, I once had to teleport over and over again to disable a portal to be able to upgrade an archer tower that was right behind it, while this tower was a very important one for my defence setup.

There should be options to turn this feature on or off as everyone has different ideas of what is fun or tedious. I stopped playing this game for lack of Options. Mass archer swarm is fun but i challenge the devs to create more options and tactics. ballista and towers are just fodder for the ai as you never get enough of them together. More OPTIONS please! Imagine leveling up units that survive battles like veteran and legendary ranked units. i'd play this again for that alone but please do something. thanks again for the work done so far

I think this bit i agree with the devs.Adding removal of items makes a lot of planning become guess and check rather than actual strats.

True . accidents do happen.I would suggest a gold penalty for doing so tho, like a significant amount of gold to remove.

Which is what I suggested.

I make these mistakes quite often, especially when I'm recruiting a vagrant where a wall mound happens to be, or an important tree that I don't want to cut down. My solution would be to make everything except vagrants cost a minimum of two coins. I guess that means new walls and tree cutting.
