As for the reason why the forums arn't flooded with this question? it is because the solution is super simple always buy more bows & arrows and when you think you have enough. Buy more bows & arrows (then somewhere in there buy other equipment but still keep on buying those bows & arrows!!!).
Your counter example was my original example of the only exception as to why you would need to change jobs....
Still my answer is to always by arrows and not get so many hammers next time.
Of course if you want to do a hodge podged way of changing classes then mark a tree near the portal to be chopped...... might have to get a few more hammers again but at least you won't have 10 usless ones.
EDIT: not sure what was going on with the quoting there but I fixed it.
-Builders will not cut trees within range of an active portal.
-Having to find an effective way to intentionally let enemies hit the kind of worker you don't need anymore is absurd.
-Oh well. I'm kinda over the game now anyway. 4th island done.
but yeah its about planning and buying more bows than anything else
Playing this game once seems lik a waste of money to me or did you start a new save?
You won't be able to unlock everything, yet you know about many late game/advanced things about this game???
Either this is a troll sentence or you don't enjoy this game?
Are you 100% sure, that you have not played more than 4 islands?
In fact it's the first result in Google, so...
About input, having up arrow to drop item is so hard ?
It's stupid to have more bow because now I cannot build anything (peasant just dont respawn indefinitely...). So I am screwed... As archer cannot die/drop their bow once in tower...
Its stupid to be unable to change jobs, now i have 1 kngith with 4 bows doing nothing 2 hammers doing nothing and y a lot of archers but i cant make them die, cause i have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fortress and i cant advance in the game, so just restart the save? wtf, suicide and begin again? WTF!!!!
this game... dropping... dont buy it!
I can recommend Tekken 8 and Palworld. They don't have this issue haha.
In that case, firing a knight to free up archers so that you can actually get income would just make the game flow easier.
But, well, the game is still fun, even if it has that annoying design flaw where, sometimes, the loss punishment is "you have to wait for the game to actually capitalize on your mistake."
