Can't upgrade campfire.
I'm on island 2 now, and for some reason the entire game I haven't been able to upgrade past the banker. I tried saving and quitting but still not working.

Go into the forest and look for what looks like a small wooden monument of sorts. Upgrade that. Go back and you can upgrade your camp.

The game isn't meant to hold your hand very much - usually the answer to most questions is to explore carefully and examine everything. :) Read the beginner's guide too!

Thanks, that was it. I always wondered what the hell that thing was so I just stopped ugrading it. Surprising I didn't see the connection.
