_Guys, it's just bad_. And everyone knows it. People are losing their patience with this crap too. People make posts and comments that are completely off the point, attacking each other or philosophizing. IT'S A WASTE OF BREATHE! Stay on topic here...please! The second you enter the POV or ray-marched path--whatever they're using--you are shot. It has clear lack of any ♥♥♥♥♥ given to the logic or player perspective.
### Key note here:
- Ai IS THE GAME IN SHOOTERS. What is NOT the game are the graphics, sounds, textures/meshes/skins, etc. Those are distractions and major cop-outs.
- Please stop doing what every company does with feature creep--trying to beat out competition by basically catching up, rather than making a minimally, but entirely complete, experience that first and foremost,
TAKES CARE OF THE BASICS. Stop rushing to employ distracting propaganda via skins and...i don't even remember at this point because the actual gameplay is identical since launch. You cant expect players to not notice the one thing they feel, experience, repeat repeat. I absolutely hate multiplayer. A major chunk of players in all genres do, but tolerate it for social reasons alone.
### *Last mention:*
for players that think they know anything about developing, the challenges, the struggles etc. It is never about that. And it's definitely not about your abilities--another irrelevant thing to go on about as you aren't in control of this game are you? Nor do you know any of the codebase at all. So pls just don't go there. Gaming is one of the most complex programming efforts in the world and still, the most underpaid...ironically. Additionally, VR is INSANELY difficult.
On top of this, all players do is complain, rarely offering any actual feedback (there is a difference). The issue nearly always lies within management, egos, investors rushing to see something new and shiny lest they threaten the entire studio with cuts and pulls. Just knowing coding means ♥♥♥♥, it's an entire business and everyone in that business has a very specific job to uphold very specific reqs in the process. Our job isn't to tell them what's easy or why it "should be" (♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ facepalm on people that say that). It's to report feedback. That's ALL. Now it's up to them to prioritize that from backlog to 'in progress'.
I see zero relevance to hypocrisy in this context. Hypocrite about what exactly? Do you know what that word means? And what does giving one bad game review have anything to do with anything? Lets float that logic actually: if someone gives 100 bad reviews, are you more likely to trust their unbiased opinion/analysis or less likely? Obviously, logic says that person only ever gives bad reviews for the sake of giving them. If someone on the other hand, that never gives any bad reviews, is frustrated enough to finally put the time and effort into something theyre otherwise never known to be concerned with--i would trust that far more. Mind boggled by the responses here.
