Servers not connected

when I launch the game neither the steam or workshop servers are connected and it won;t let me play online, it was working fine yesterday when I played, no entirely sure what the problem is. Tried restarting pc, validating files, launching in oculus and steam seperately, nothing has fixed so far. anyone know a fix?

have same issue as of today, played tuesday an today its not connected. did the above, no change.....

other games work

yea thats exactly what happened to me, I even joined the discord and asked around but no one has even responded to me yet so I guess we'll have to wait and see...

east coast? might be a local connection issue

short of reinstalling im lost on whats up, there is no firewall/router changes on my end an everything's been restarted. pavlov an wardust work fine. im logged into steam to post this soooo wtf?

I'm west coast and everything else works fine for me so I don't know what the problem is

2 days latter an same issue, ill try reinstalling but obviously there is some kind of connection check failing. kinda ridiculous.

if you join their discord server they have a guide to fix it

spent a good while searching the discord, didn't see anything havent signed up to post.

Here it is!
Potential solution to fix the servers not connecting.
- open regedit
- Follow the folder path to the Onward Registry
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Downpour Interactive\Onward
- Delete everything in this folder
- close regedit
- navigate to C:\Users\ yourpcusernamehere \AppData\LocalLow\Downpour Interactive
- remove the "Onward" folder inside of that folder
- boot game and play online again

yes using the solution mr.death provided it did fix my problem

forgot to update this. the advise above DID NOT resolve my issue only deleted my config. what did fix my issue was using steams settings to move the install directory from my D:\ to my C:\ (storage drive to SSD)

im figuring if i have this issue again i wont be able to solve it without adding a 3rd hard drive, if the dev dosn't remove/sort this connection check.
