People "cheating" via discord server and communicating after dead

So, I was playing tonight with my regular group against another regular group of guys: CMAC, gwinntanamo, and djlenney. They were using a discord server to communicate after they die. Since people feel the need to cheat like this, why not just allow comms for everyone after they die to make it fair for those who don't want to cheat? Or have a way to mute their mic or something after they die. I'm sad to see people have to resort to outside of the game help to feel the need to win.

So, is there a fix for this, or should just everyone also be on a discord server chatting it up after they die to make the playing field even?

You're supposed to be able to use the radio while knocked out, the bigger problem is if I come up on someone and kill them dead before they have a chance to pull the radio they are able to give up my position where they otherwise wouldn't be able to.

He is talking about when you're down and wounded in battle, and yes you can talk, yell, scream,... In fact, it's more like hard to keep quiet.

BTW another thing that gives us a disadvantage- our discord isnt just for onward we have a half dozen people on there at all times talking BS about life or whatever game they are on and some of us are in onward together. We get killed all the time for talking to our friends on the server so it definitely cuts both way.

I feel like everyone helped diffuse the situation and then JKflipflop just pooped on it. Goodness. I swear it's pretty disadvantageous to hear us talking about the weather, kids, and grocery shopping mid-war.

Here's an idea... bearing in mind THIS IS A GAME. Anyone who gets killed gets to talk to their own team but also hears the dead team on the opposing team chatter. A bit like spying, informants, intelligence in real life war situations. IS the intelligence trustworthy. When they say "he's behind you" is he really? Counter intelligence. The reality is - it's a bit sucky for everyone who's dead waiting for the other 2 left in the game to find each other. Isn't it better that all the observers help bring about the demise of the remaining players ASAP! Without having 1 team resorting to off game VOIP or private servers.
Summary - dead players ARE informants and spies. Better level the playing field and make it part of the game.

This again sounds like my UAV idea, which accomplishes basically the same thing (help two players left find each other faster). However, with the UAV idea, it seems like it would be more fun flying way above the map looking down through a powerful camera lens than watching the spectate menu giving intel (good or bad intel) lol.

I totally love ^ this ^ idea.

Maybe a wide angle lens UAV for them indoor maps.
Also make it so you could shoot them down for extra points (or deaths).
