Play sitting down?

Can this be played sitting down? standing and kneeling are rather painful. thanks

No, this game requires you to move around corners, kneel and prone.

You might be able to play sitting in a high swivel chair, but you wouldn't be able to crouch in-game, which would be a disadvantage. A regular height swivel chair would make you permanently crouched in-game, which would probably be game breaking. The dev is adding support for shorter people so when he does you might be able to play normally in a regular height chair.

This is all speculative, I have never attempted to play in a chair.

Possible yes (when greater height of player is available, which i worry people chosing short people to be smaller targets...) but advisable no being able to kneel sit and lay are all usefull positions in game.

I was just hypothesizing that someone with a physical handicap or ability might be able to reasonably play the game with a swivel chair. Agreed if you're gaming the height system to be shorter in game you're a dirty rotten cheater.
