Your playing the wrong game dude, in steam click CSGO.... bye bye.
They are on the way
I see a number of concerns here. First, this is a somewhat milsim game and not as arcade as CSGO.
Secondly I dare to say the majority of the current playerbase is well beyond the age of at least 20 and I enjoy that a lot! I wouldnt want to have bunch of 14 year old storming in because they heard it had CS maps in it. (I know it would require them to first get a Vive and a decent PC but lets face it, the kid cries, the parent buys). I already had the pleasure today to play with a bunch of kids and it was awful, one of the kids began a tk sprea out of boredom.
Also, those CS maps are extremely small and linear with only having two possible options for objective placements. In Addition I despise the "Rush B" phylosiphy in general.
Besides that, having fast paced or more direct maps just gives more diversity to the game. You can always choose which map to play depending on your available time, which is very limited once you grow older...
You get people b*tching because "People are just going to run and gun!" But to that I say, this a as close to a simulation as it gets. If people are running and gunning and succeeding, clealy that's a viable tactic. A stupid one, because you could very easily die. But it's just as viable in real life as in a game.
All in all, I don't think he should create super small maps and integrate them into the regular playlist, but rather have two separate playlists, or even three: CQB, Mix, and Long Range.
