Onward on the Quest 2

I have bought Onward for full price on my Quest 2 and have always seen the PC version better with graphics and RTX stuff, just generically better. I was wondering if I could get the PC version free because I bought it on my Quest 2 or can I not because the PC version is better?

P.S IM NOT TRYING TO START A DEBATE I JUST WANT THE MORE UPDATED VERSION!!!

I was told you were suppose to get the Steam version if you bought Onward on the Ocular store, no?

Just to be clear the whole problem with Onward at the moment is that there are not 2 versions. There's only one. On higher end headsets you will have less visual restrictions, but it is not a different game or build. You bought the game through Oculus, which is just a login account. You should be able to login to the Oculus store from a PC as well. You just can't be logged in at both locations at the same time.

But the answer is no. You can't get a free pass on one platform after buying it on another. I know what seems sucky at a glance, but you would end up with so many more problems if there was a system in place to hand out copies like this. It would end up in many people giving extra copies away or selling them on the side. It's just not feasible without some kind of communications between the numerous platforms to authenticate, and of course they wouldn't cooperate in such ways. It's in their interests for us to pay twice, so the overhead of development and support would be nothing but a financial hemorrhage to fix something that is not even really an issue to most players.

Onward is not Crossbuy on the Oculus store, so regardless of where you buy it you do not get a 2nd copy for free (I'm assuming you bought the Quest standalone version).
If you want the PC version, you unfortunately have to buy it a 2nd time (Rift store or STeam)
