I don't know if the VD auto install the beta version. I know I haven't even looked for this. But it's happening to me.
If Airlink + Ownard doesn't have this issue and;
I don't get this issue with VD + HL Alyx;
then it must be an issue with VD + Onward.
Increase Controller Vibration Level: Check the vibration settings in the Quest 2 settings menu and increase the intensity if necessary.
Remove and Reinsert Batteries: Taking out the batteries, waiting a few minutes, then putting them back can reset the controller's connection.
Replace Batteries: Swap out old batteries with new, fully charged ones to ensure sufficient power for vibration.
Restart Quest 2 Headset: Powering off and then turning the headset back on can resolve many minor glitches.
Unpair and Repair Controller via Oculus App: Sometimes re-pairing the controller can fix connectivity issues that might be affecting vibration.
Try Different Games: If the vibration works in some games but not others, the issue could be game-specific rather than a controller problem.
Contact Oculus Support: If all else fails, Oculus Support can offer further assistance, especially if the controllers are still under warranty.
For constant vibration issues, the same steps apply. It's important to narrow down whether the issue is with specific games or the controllers themselves.
These solutions have proven effective in resolving vibration-related problems with Oculus Quest 2 controllers. Feel free to check out my post for more details on any of these fixes!
