AI Rushing and acting very dumb

Playing workshop map solo in this game is so good especially if you are an active airsoft player living in a quarantine and need to practice your aiming and situational awareness without have to deal with the multiplayer ego and madness. But you know what? Yes, the AI ruined it....

Same old complaints about the AI : They always rushing blindly towards the player in a very dumb manner especially when playing solo in a small - medium maps

I think it's better to have AI that react more natural by taking cover and move from cover to cover to reach the player and to avoid being shot by the player. I saw this kind of AI movement in Tales of Glory 2 (TOG2) where the AI tends to take cover and move from cover to cover. Contractors VR single player mode also offers the same AI behavior but more aggresive and more stupid than TOG2. AI in TOG2 feel more natural. And AI in Onward is the dumbest.

And I'm very sure that combining AI behaviour in TOG2 with Onward will make my quarantine live more wonderfull :D:D

in 1.7?

This was the AI version where they would all suicide rush you as soon as you were detected. I don't think I recall AI ever throwing smokes, but it's also possible I just never noticed it was them and assumed it was other players.

The AI has never really appeared to act as a team, apart from spawning with other AI. If it was once good enough to simulate what you speak of, then maybe they should consider revisiting that.

AI in 1.7 evac was so much more fun, now they don't spawn enough enemies at one time so the suspense just isn't close to the same. I never play evac now, I don't think I've played it with any regularity since 1.7
