Random spikes of 100% GPU usage
So i bought the game today but it is becoming unplayable due to the fact that my gpu randomly spikes to 100% usage while running through the game, it usually sits around 30-40% usage and the game runs fine but for some reason it will randomly spike to 100%. I am using the quest 2 but I am playing the game through virtual desktop as I thought that it would be more stable on steam rather than buy it on the oculus store (it was also cheaper). My PC specs are;
GPU - RX 5700XT
CPU - Ryzen 7 3700x
Ram - 32gb ddr4 3000mhz
!tb M.2 SSD
MOBO - B450 Tomahawk MAX

Having constant 120 fps on my Index with a GTX 1080, 32GB Ram i7-8700K, runs like a charm. On graphics high (not ultra) I know it's of no help, only wanted to tell you that it CAN run smoothly, it's not a 100% game problem. Set it to high and check again. If it works raise the detail setting one by on to ultra till the problem reaccours, then you have your culpit, if it's game related and not system related.

Recommended 980 GTX *this is not enough* I'm using a 1060 and it makes my ♥♥♥♥ lag, it's been this way since the quest update.

Something must have changed, I get some lag or anomolies now and I never used to before on a 1070. I'm on a Reverb G2 so maybe it is making virtual monitors that can be disabled. I haven't checked.

I disabled virtual monitors that WMR made when G2 loads and disabled the Geforce experience overlay and my game stopped acting up.
