Loading issues and crashing.
Hey there. I have issues with the game. Whenever i try to join a lobby for Multiplayer (Shooting Range solo works just fine) it wait till the game loads me into the match, and after that Nvidia GeForce Experience shows the game drops to 1 FPS and after that GeForce crashes. After that the game puts me into a infinite loading screen (just the regular load screen for returning to the main menu) in wich its just stuck on 0% so i have to fully exit VR to close it. The game has these issues all the time for me and rarely works (usually allows me to play only once per week). I tried reinstalling and verifying files, I installed EAC for it manually since i figured that was the problem since it didn't load me only into MP but it doesnt seem to be the issue. Help would be great.

Specs don't seem to be an issue since the game when it works always works smoothly and loads me in a match withing 30 seconds wile when its crashing it can take up to 2 minutes.
Specs:
CPU: Intel Core i5 @ 2.90GHz Kaby Lake 14nm Technology
GPU: 2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB (Gigabyte)
RAM: 8.00GB Dual-Channel Unknown @ 1200MHz
Storage: 931GB Western Digital WDC WD10EZEX-60WN4A0 (SATA )
Motherboard: ASRock B365M Phantom Gaming 4 (CPUSocket)

Ty for the help.

Hi, this is likely due your system running out of memory. users with 8GB ram are having this issue with Onward currently. While it is something that we will have to address with a future update, i do have a solution for you which you can use in the meanwhile

The temp solution would be to set your system pagefile(virtual memory) to 10GB. This will prevent your system running out of memory when playing Onward.

Ahh ty for the response. But ive already set it to around 11GB before and it didnt help. I just finished playing the game rn and it was working just fine after about 2 crashes with it set on System Managed Paging.
I do sometimes get a "SteamVR fail (-203) sometimes before the game crashes when i load into a match. I cant find what -203 issues. Any Clue?

I'm fairly certain that it still has to do with you running out of ram. please ensure not to use the higher texture settings for the game.

Please hold down CTRL when launching the game. Let go of CTRL when you see a small white window appear. Select the lowest quality settings and click launch.

keep me posted how it goes :)

let's try something else, let's reinstall EAC.
To install/re-install EAC, you will need to navigate to the "Easy Anti Cheat" folder in your Onward install directory.

Inside the EAC folder will find the installer for EAC (EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe), run it as an administrator. then click

- Uninstall EAC (if applicable)
- If Steam installation, verify game files, otherwise fully uninstall and re-install
- Install EAC from game directory
- Restart PC

let me know what happens! :)

Have already done that before but it didn't fix the issue. It prolly just is my specs. It worked after relaunching it 2 times and running shooting range 1st. Ill just see where i can post the crash log next time.
