Accurate weapons please (IE TAR-21)
Hey Developers Wishlist for the next update.

I noticed when playing that one has to manually strip the mags from the tavor. While an AR-15/m16/m4 will more forcibly eject the mag, a tavor will eject the mag with the mag release alone.
Surprised at this and sure I was right I got a friend to take me to the range with his tavor TAR-21. Ive tried this with 2 different steel and 3 different polymer mags and they all eject cleanly just by hitting the release. For realism sake I should be able to grab a mag with one hand and eject the empty (or loaded) mag and have it fall free as long as it is inclined at least 30 degrees downward so i can more quickly reload. I tested this with the bolt locked back and with a round still in the chamber an both empty and partially loaded mags. This seems like it is unnecessarily hindering players who choose to use a tavor.

Granted some might complain that without a mod the tavor requires the off hand to hit the release button and "thereforoe you cant do this with a mag in hand" but that is plainly untrue as this is how I always speed reload. You either hit the release with the mag (sloppy but works) or with your index finger then slam the new one in place. So just allow the mag release button to eject as normal with a minimal loss of realism (compared to having to needlessly strip the mag)


Also, A mod for later that would be nice is to allow adjustment of the height and location of the reflex sight. Some people use quarter or half inch risers to make the sight at a more comfortable height and this with a VR headset seems a nice compromise given that we have to be cautious of bashing the headset into some stocks. A flip up 3x or 6x magnifier on a holographic sight would be great. Sure the person has to fumble with the sight but thats more for them to choose to screw around with and risk getting shot while doing so. That or include one of the more expensive sights that has a quick toggle between 1x and 4x magnification and just make it cost as much as a 12x scope to mount.

Can you add a minor suppression mechanic for thrown objects at a person. It likly wont save many lives but when you click empty on someone up close im likly to throw my weapon at them as I reach for my sidearm or knife. Most people will flinch at a 4+ pound piece of steel coming at their head.

Finally, enough of us are lefties, or shoot left due to eye dominance. While your menu option allows for eye dominance it leaves a couple other aspects of this variable out.

I typically run a rifle left handed but a pistol right handed. It would be nice if the rifle slung left while I could choose to have the pistol on my right hip. Further, though as a lesser request, it would be nice if some weapons like the tavor allowed for a mirrored model since these are "readily" converted to left handed charging handles. Im used to having to flip rifles to charge if I have to but this costs precious fractions of a second.

An extended ambi charging handle on the M4 variants would also be nice for us lefties.

Sorry for being like 4 years late, but… The Volk weapons are all unable to release the mag with a single click, it isn’t the accuracy, it’s the active hindering of a team that’s allowed access to molotovs, remote explosives, and RPGs. It has to be harder for them to operate in order to be able to allow them access to such weaponry, for the sake of realism, I 100% agree with you, but when actual matches come into play, it makes them a lot more mobile and makes it easier for them to fight with the weaponry
