Don't blame the age.
CF3D Jan 2, 2017 @ 10:40am
it was the age...

Yea I agree, it is terrible. Kids < 16 should stay out of this. It is just so wrong.
Spike Jan 2, 2017 @ 11:54am
And you know this how?

I have played with many younger players that are very good. I try to not make blanket statements about a group of people just because I might have had one that was a ass.

One could just a easy say "If you make generalized statements about people, please don't play this game..."

Not so nice to be placed in a group just because you might fit the description.

I think it is wrong to allow an "infant" to play realistic (VR) Military Simulations, like CS, Arma and especially Onward. If Onward would get a rating, it would definately be rated PEGI16 or ESRB-M. If you don't see a problem with this, that is your irresponsible attitude then and I don't agree with it.

I also have met quite some kids too and none of them were good. They either didn't understand how the game worked, were constantly babbling and not even communicating with their teammates, just stood at the spawn or ran around aimlessly, dying first, leaving first.

At that age, they have a different understanding of games like this, they behave different, react different (especially if they lose), etc. Above that, VR games have a different level of realism and immersion. So I'm not sure if this is mentally "healthy" for the further evolution of that kids.

So how you see no problem with this is beyond me. You are either quite young too or just lack common sense and responsiblity.

I am 14 and i am more serious than people at the age of 20 playing it......
LOL plz dont blame the age its just how a man acts not his age.....
Nachbars Lumpi Jan 2, 2017 @ 3:04pm
Then you are an excpetion, like 1 in 100. Acting and age go hand-in-hand together. But to be fair I need to agree, I also have been team-killed alot by adults who didn't know what they did.

It's all BS and it's bad for you. We are talking about a video game. What's next? Dungeons and Dragons players are devil worshippers. Come on you guys get out of the nineties, we have dealt this shh it already and the gamers won! Stop taking everything so seriously, teach if you see a charachter flaw, this is your responsibility as a community member. That's what I try to do at least.

Completely disagree, I'm 15 and act alot more mature than most of the older players.
If you think this is age your wrong. Its how someone acts when they are playing. I've come across an older player throwing a fit while playing onward, he was acting about 12...

no

So 18 is old enough to Die, but 16 is too young to play a Game?

Just as I thought.

Maybe the other players aren't the problem here. Maybe they are shooting you for being the way you are here. I would. I would flick you right in the ear.

No. Thats actually the responsibility of their parents, not mine. Somebody with a "character flaw" will surely listen to some random stranger from the internet, rather than to their parents. ;)

If there are "mature" kids in Onward (or other games), I haven't met any yet. I need to agree though that most adult players behave like kids too (even in the forums).
But still, the majority of players I enjoyed playing with were adults and not kids. No matter what game.

What are you talking about?

16 would be ok. 11, 12, 13, ... is too young to play games like Onward. But tastes differ. If you enjoy playing with "infants", go ahead. I won't stop you. But please be honest enough not to force us into liking to play with them. Thank you! :)
