LT/RT command prompt does nothing?

After I charge enemies with lb/rb some get stunned and show a LT/RT prompt over their head. I go up to them but the triggers do nothing. Anyone know how this works?

Update: It only fails me with streaming on TV. If I play from computer it works

Seems if you press only one of the key its working!

I had to unplug replug controller in and was able to use the triggers

I am having this issue on both steaming on the TV and now when I play on my PC as well. Has anyone found a solution? triggers are needed for some of these boss fights.

As an update here, I tried the game again and did what diamonddog did...while the game is running just unplug then replug your controller back in. Worked for me multiple times already.

How do you unplug the controller on a Steam Deck? xD

If you are using an Xbox gamepad, disable Steam Input in the game's steam settings.

The Xbox gamepad will automatically be recognized by the game and the RT/LT key will then work.
