The game uses music stored on your hard drive. There's a "Track Indexing" function in the options menu where you can scan for music by selecting folders in which your music tracks are stored.

It should be noted that this game does not support streaming services such as Spotify.

Yes. Just make sure it's tagged correctly (artist/ song name) so you'll be able to find it easily.

I'd definitely recommend buying this game, especially if you're a big music fan. It's both relaxing and peaceful as well as brutally punishing, depending on your difficulty setting :)

Also the Beat Hazard Ultra DLC is well worth it in my opinion, something to think about if you enjoy the core game, as it adds a lot of interesting features.

(Sorry, I haven't used the Steam forums in a while. I just royally buggered up that reply. Hopefully this one works!)

You can also add custom Radio Stations. :)

Basically, Track Indexing is only required for "Play Random" / "Play one not played yet" and faster folders navigation.
BH supports normal folders navigation (Though, it doesn't support network shares (Samba) like Audiosurf/Melody Escape does).

The only pitfall is that BH doesn't support Unicode so tracks/folders that contains non-english lettters will be shown as "??????" :steamsad:
