Captchas out of control
Hi i can not cope anymore with having to solve a captcha every time i play a dungeon and that is per character, so if i play a dungeon that costs 8 fatigue points per entry and my available fatigue points are 176, i have to solve 22 captchas with every character i want to play the exact same dungeon, thus translating it takes 2-10 minutes to only solve captchas getting the captcha between the first or last attempt respectively, without mentioning incomplete captchas (this has happened to me several times and i could not tolerate it anymore :lunar2019madpig:), not considering dying while solving it or not being able to focus on the window and type in the textbox.

In my eyes not all players are bots or want to exploit the game, i simply can not afford to play to solve captchas it vanishes all my intentions to get rewards in the game for different characters. Why not consider analyzing player behavior over different periods of time, so that the captcha is adapted to the player based on the time playing, in a way that is not intrusive and does not affect gameplay rather than forcing the captcha against the player?

Thanks for reading i hope this changes soon

the uptick in captchas is a known issue issue since the last update 2 weeks ago since even players who rarely or never gotten it ended up experiencing it
not sure what part of the update caused it specifically but there has always been some tips to solve or alleviate captchas spam over the years from simply taking a break from gameplay for a couple hours, being proven spender since whatever security theyre using apparently doesnt flag what it views as valid players as being bots if they actually load up and spend some cera since... well this is something bots and gold seller would never do, setting up 2FA and/or region lock or even just being as direct as possible and sending a ticket to support about this because thats a surefire way to validate yourself as an actual player
Hi thanks for sharing this with me :lunar2019piginablanket:

My best bet is submitting a ticket to support and see how it goes :cleanhourglass:

Thanks again have a good one :lunar2019wavingpig:

Well after reaching out through a ticket i got some info in case someone else faces the same problem:

-> In received response they mentioned that it should be less frequent than before given the fact that i explained what was going on when playing each character in my account (i'll try to make some numbers here if possible) currently i have 22 captchas per character as originally posted
-> Try changing channels (i change channels from time to time but now i am doing it intentionally for prevention and see if it really helps and of course try to identify a pattern or something that is more helpful than just randomly changing channels)
-> If previous does not help re-logging into your account (this is last resource but it may prove reliable if playing for long sessions)

I am going to test this out and hopefully it helps in the long term

So changing channels did not work at all, i was able to run 10 dungeons without a captcha, then captchas started to appear again 1 per dungeon or 2 per dungeon at start and end, this repeating randomly, i ended up solving 17~18 captchas from the 22 originally reported.

I decided to reach out with what i found and they told me that the os i am using and compatibility layer are not supported ... fine.

OS and compatibility layer lol... thats a new 1
guess all i say about this is that dfo was originally released in 2005 or 2004 for its closed beta all the way back in kr so spaghetti code is a rather prominent thorn in the side as they never intended for it to get this big and according to the devs themselves it was actually originally suppose to be a throw away mmo they were to operate for a few years before closing service just to get them some revenue to get started on other projects but had to have a change of plans when profits went above and beyond what was intended like just look at what dfo/dnf looked like in kr in 2005 and you'd realize it started out looking like it was little more then a glorified flash game https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jRJK6KALHIs
its insane to see how far dfo/dnf has been elevate it to what it is today from... whatever that was
