Event Character

Hey guys, i'm completely new to this game and therefor know next to nothing about it.
I'm wondering if there's a way to delete a Event Character, I ended up making one on a whim and now i'm unhappy with the character I picked. I wanted to change it to another one but the game won't allow me to delete it. Am I stuck with it untill the event is over?

So you want to create another different class, as an Event Character? I think it's not possible, but create an normal character, you wont see a difference

Isn't there like a ton of items you only get on a event character that you miss out on if you make it a normal character?

Yes. Only your event character can get those, and you can't make a second event character even if you delete the first one. You can, however, change the subclass of your event character in the skill window. You might like a different subclass better.

Hmm, I guess i'm stuck then. Wish I had looked this up before, or the game atleast display a warning before creating it xD

But it does...in the character selection screen when your choosing a level goal etc etc.

Do you want to make a completely different character? or a different class?


It's important to know since you can change your class any time if your under lvl 50.

however, if you want to play a different base class, then you're pretty much stuck.

I ended up with the same problem... i created the event character with a class i wanted to test out, but turned out i didn't like it... though i stuck with it since it was still the only event character i could make and ended up starting to like it eventually.
so lesson learned: No matter what class you pick, it WILL get better after you unlock most of the skills for use

Always change the sub class before you delete your character. All 4 sub classes play totally different.

Some wisdom right there :D Then does anyone know anything about female mages here? I specifically made a Summoner but after I learned the controls, i felt it was lacking because you don't really fight in melee and the spells was all so dull compared to the preview videos. Any of the sub classes u can recommend or maybe if there's a "how to git gud" guide for summoners? ^^
