Newbie Tips and Tricks Guide!
Welcome to DFO!

Here are a few tips:

0. Pick up all crafting materials! You'll need large quantities of them during the story quest later.

1. Vendor white (normal) items, disassemble blue (magical) items, and profession grinder purple (rare) items.

2. Go to Hotkeys->Chat and assign a key to //setitem
Once per dungeon (usually in boss room), you can press this hotkey to gather all dropped items together.

3. Assign a key to //setcharacter to unstuck your character

4. Ctrl+Left Click allows you to manually select multiple items for disassembly. Ctrl+Right Click will select all items of the same rank.

5. Holding down Spacebar as you sell items is a quick way to bypass the sell confirmation.

6. How to unlock Hard Mode Scenarios: http://steamcommunity.com/app/495910/discussions/0/360671727324434406/

7. Hate getting buffs in your quick bar? When you click on a skill icon in the skill tree, you will see a tiny clock thing. Press it and it'll put your buff on a timer (Remove the buff from the quick bar first). All you have to do is the manual command for the buff, ie: Forward, Forward, Space, and the buff cooldown will appear on top of your skill quickslots.

8. In the Hotkey window is a checkbox for "Auto Fire Toggle", which spams x for you when you hold down the x key.

9. Press M to open your status screen, and on the bottom right is a button for "Damage Analysis", which lets you check the damage each skill did in your last dungeon.

2. You should also set //setcharacter in case your character gets stuck behind a wall
3. ctrl + right click also selects items of the same rank (except for purple weapons of your class)
4. Holding enter opens up chat interface, use spacebar instead

Some more tips:

1. Have items stuck in places you can't find? //setitems will let you gather all items on a map to you. You can only do this once because people exploited it before, so be careful when you use it.

2. When you get your profession quest, it's honestly up to you, but Disassembler is honestly my bet. It's easy to grind (ha, get it?) or start. Problem is, everyone goes dissasembler. If you want to put more and gain more, Alchemist and Enchanter is also another option.

3. Hate getting buffs in your quick bar? When you click on a skill icon in the skill tree, you will see a tiny clock thing. Press it and it'll put your buff on a timer (well, remove the buff from the quick bar first). All you have to do is the command for the buff, like >>Space, and the buff cooldown will appear on top of your skill quickslot.

You can also change commands via the skill menu, You can't have two of the same command on a skill.

Dissing whites can actually be more profittable, when clear frags are a a certain point on the AH. Something to also not dismiss, is they also give Common Souls, which in a future patch can be converted into Uncommon Souls (you can convert uncommon -> rare, rare -> unique, unique -> legendary too). For that reason, dissing purples can be fine too, but you'll want to use the town diss for purples, since it doesn't cost gold, you get the same amount of souls, and you won't accidentally be able to diss any tainted rare gear in the town diss. Another note on dissing, when dissing unique gear, do not use a Lv11 diss, use the town diss so that you're guaranteed to get high grade elemental crystals.

Sorry for the late response. There's an excellent end-game guide on reddit that I've now put a link to:

If you mentor someone they will give you some FP every time they use up some.

If your student coordinates with you, you can keep getting 1 FP from 0 FP which you can use to full clear the highest EXP dungeon available to you.

You then very meticulously make multiple students do this in a coordinated fashion and you can reach max level in an incredibly short amount of time.

This probably sounds ridiculous, but people have gone through this trouble in the past to be the first of a class to max level.
