as for why this happens its honestly part second guessing, part really smol team (started with only 10 staff members but then they've lost people due to members pursuing other careers and soemthing to do with employment in general in jeju island because of covid a while back and they've mentioned recently on their bi-weekly stream they've only now started looking to expand the team or something along those lines), part oversensitive/zealous security system and part anti charge-back fraud in the past which is the reason for ramping up security measures originally, doesnt particularly help that neople werent even keen on having dfo on steam in the first place
something people discovered is that either setting up account security immediately like region lock and/or google authenticator or simply having a monetary charge on your account would massively lower the probability of encountering many of the issues as they serve as validation/likely-hood of an actual player and not a bot or potential scammer but otherwise if it happens again the only thing left to do is to either keep messaging them in hopes of an actual person on the replying end or try to speak with a community manager/advisor who can be found on /r/dfo or the unofficial discord sever
so again worst case scenario is to try to contact 1 of the community advisor/managers
