no one really uses quick party search, its a relic function really, people also dont really party together while lvling either since lvling is really fast and all and the meaningful content is at end game so people just lvl up really fast so they can reach end game and then they party for things, i mean some people r already capped their first f priest already, i myself am only 1 lvl away from capping my first f priest at the time of writting this
u can even ask on dfo reddit too and well if u want i can pm u a link to my guild's discord though and invite u into the 1 im in, none of us would really go and party with u without a better reason then keeping u company (probably) but we're pretty active and some of us likes to spam meme all the time (i hold no responsibility of any corruption)
... but then I remember the Nexon days and how bad most randoms I joined were, and I'd much rather stay solo >_<
In particular, specific examples I still remember to this day.
- Timed quest. 12 minutes to clear an Entire King's Road difficulty dungeon. Party wants to stop to regen MP after every single room.
- Multiple AFKers just sitting around, unable to change rooms at all. Can't kick them mid dungeon.
- Level 40+ characters who only spam normals and no skills ever, so things take waaaaaay longer than they should. (Keep in mind, back then, most quests needed King's difficulty, we didn't have the main story guiding us through normal difficulty. Spamming just normals would take potentially 5+ minutes per room.)
... yeah, I'll take my chances solo as a solo buffbot/healer/etc.
ehh . . . most of that is pretty irrelevant now since scenarios r piss easy and no class should even hav mp troubles until pandemonium and if someone is afking that prevents going to another room; carry oils and bombs with u always (bO.o)b
these days people wanna clear dungeons as fast as u can really
