not super hype
f.monk was nice but id much rather have it in the "normal" game

felt a little too kritika for me to jump with joy from what they showed so far

I am much more interested in the new f.mage and m.slayer for "normal" dfo
a f.mage is here to finally kick saders out of obligatory place in all group content(or so i hope lol)
even if it is a little annoying that f.mage and m.slayer get 1 more subclass
thats 6 now
but A omni/necro m.slayer and a sader f.mage is about as perfect as it can get

dk and creator arent mslayer or fmage, the fact kr referred to these as their 5th subclasses already proves that, enchantress is also billed as an alternate sader so shes the furthers away from any sorta overlap with the rest of the fmages too

im rather skeptical of this considering every other attempt at a spin off fail, on the other hand im looking forward for when they implement witch into this so ride around in a drillcar

what makes u think this is going to be on par with wow/better?
and i think most ppl that are going to be interested in this
are going to be the ppl that allready play their favorite MMO dnf/dfo
wow ppl is not going to care about this game
and MMO jumpers are never happy

and the problem with getting the ppl that play "normal" dnf to actually wanna stay in this new game is their biggest challenge
this is going to be a side game for a few weeks until some changes come around in normal dnf and then it is going to become very empty...

it is going to be a free to play game
and that usualy comes with all sorts of problems
they are probably not going to be able to have it as fair as dnf/dfo is
so they will lock things behind a paywall

look at
Lost Ark is a fine game that will probably add more and more sub fees/cash shop only items that is going to be needed and so on
and nosedive when it comes out in the west
(not the same company so maybe not a fair comparison)

nexons sequal to maplestory(maplestory2lol) was a complete failure in korea and the rest of the world
and that game have a pretty fair monetization model and still failed horrible
so they need to really jump in here and do something special
or it is going to be another failed spinoff

f.monk alone got me interested
so when it does come ill be there
it got me excited to the point that I want to try it
so its a good start

but after showing it to some friends that does not care about dfo
but have spent the last 14years playing wow as their main game
they could care less about some early promo videos for some asian p2w "insert badword here"
...well well...

unknown atm but highly unlikely to be any sort of remake but its speculated that it seems to be a prequel of sorts because the trailer showed a lizard like creature with downwards fangs with protrusions on its back that has lightning powers which is similar to the secret boss in the deleted content called dark elves ruins
said secret boss is named gruff and is a giant skeletal of a lizard-like creature with the same downward fangs, protrusions on its back and lightning powers and its a fact that one branch of dark elves' magic does seem to deal with the undead since the catacombs and hero's catacombs has something to do with old dark elven magic, death dragon spirazzi's nature, plagued apostle delezie and luke's nightmare mixing/colliding in some strange way to result in a came back wrong[tvtropes.org] on some dead dark elves individuals in legends and since gruff is specifically a secret boss of a content literally called dark elves ruins it can be theorized that project BBQ and this "living" gruff takes place in the past before the story even begins

overall there is very little info outside of that fact that it was showcased in g-star which isnt a good sign since games showcase there is mainly to draw upon hype and such so to validate fundings rather then something already being in development and it doesnt even hav a release date afaik
