E-mail Verification issue?
So, anyone else get told 'You need to verify your email' despite having an account already. Then get told 'you can't use this email, it's in use.' thus preventing you from logging into the game? (Despite the website happily accepting your account when you log into that?)

because I've got a ticket going and they just told me "You need to use the steam client." which didn't fix the problem unfortunately. I've replied to them but I wondered if anyone else had hit this wall and potentially had an alternative workaround to waiting on coustomer service to get back to me.:raven:

I'm having the same issue. I've had two accounts with them and went to the steam client. Now I can't log in and I haven't gotten my PW reset email. I might just end up starting over now with a new e-mail.

Here is how I got around it.

All I did was setup a new Gmail account and supply that as the registration email. This let me log into my account, everything intact. I'm not thrilled by that, but at least it has a workaround, stupid as it is.:raven:

Thanks, I was just getting back on to say the same thing. I have all my characters still. I agree with you on that.

2 years later and you still gotta use this work around, but at least it works!
