What's the difference between each group?

A. Investigation Group
B. ADventurer's Guildsman
C. Grim Seeker

Do it change something in gameplay choosing any?

it determines if u fight luke or not at the end of the scenario quest, A and B does but grim seeker doesnt, also for f slayers A isnt a choice because her bckstory is about her being a rebel against so theres no way she would even consider it a choice but otherwise it really makes no difference, it also determines whether luke's death cut-scene is him in his battle form (A or B) or in his default form (C) since ur fighting him in A and B and thus he dies in his battle form while in C he gets sneak atk and dies in his default form


PS: the people from the grim seekers r the nice compare to the the jerk from both adventure and investigation

another thing is that both the empire and the adventures want to kill luke and all apostles indiscriminately for their own reason (safety measures or belief its a necessity/duty) which plays right into hilder's plans of kill all of the apostles except her and cain and destroy arad (which is wut happens in the future creator and dark knight is from) to rejuvenate pandemonium while the grim seeker's founder knows of hilder's schemes and want to stop her by protecting luke since all the problem luke is causing is because hes trying to negate his own death he saw in a prophecy, wutever group u choose his life is inevitable taken away either by the player character or a traitor leaving becky to cry while watching him die

Thanks for tell me the background story, I love those kind of stuff. Sometimes I'm really earned to get into, but it's like gotta take forever read everything and I left it behind.

yea the lore of dfo is everywhere, while it is still more coherent then something like elsword's its still scattered all over the place so its a bit hard to figure out since some of it is in character's specific bck story, non story related stuff, wasnt really as prevalent originally and even the fact that there was literally a in-universe retconing of everything that happened in arad called the great metastasis caused by the god coloso that the knight character is searching for which made the crapsaccharine world dfo takes place in a whole lot worst, it did do some good though like the fact that elves arent extinct anymor and a bunch of previously antagonistic characters r now on ur side but dwarfs r now greed as fk (even mor so then they're typically portrayed), elemental spirits r wrecking havoc and monsters r mutating and going crazy everywhere

and this is ontop of the current problems like the threat of the apostles, the weary presence of the de los empire, the mutation caused by the 1st metastasis etc

Nice, it seems like you know pretty well the dfo world. That's so cool.

A pity there's not a book related about the background story of the game, like what Wow did, I would not mind reading it.

i think there should be some in kr, cn or jp but nothing for NA or even in english aside from some artbooks since nexon decided to screw dfo over all those years ago
