Can not register by Steam?

I downloaded DNF client from steam last night, but I can not register by steam account. what should I do?

Just to add to this; this is a problem with me as well, and I've had the game downloaded through steam for a short while and have some hours into it. Can't push play. It doesn't even give me the option to log out on the patcher.

Same problem here, I just finished downloading the game. Play button is grayed out and when I click it it says Please login before game start, and there is a message saying "We're sorry new registration is not possible on steam at the moment." Ugh... its so annoying. There are no posts about this issue either. I don't even know if this is temporary or not. Way to lose newcomers like me.

Okay guys, I managed to get mine to work. I did a few things, but I'm pretty sure the thing that fixed it was verifying the game files. On Steam, right click the game and choose properties, and under the local files tab, there should be a button called "verify integrity of game files." I downloaded a small amount of data, relaunched the game, and it's working fine now.

Welp. Apparently it was a one-time thing. It's back to not working.

EDIT: Closing out of steam altogether and relaunching it as an adminstrator appears to have done the trick. My full process was that first step, verifying the game files, then running the game. I can confirm that I'm in game and my steam account is accessible.

This won't work for us as we can't even register. You already have an account and therefore are having a different problem, not the one stated on this thread.
