Try going into the actual game files, running the executable of the game directly (it tries to launch the game without going through the patcher first. makes it crash).
The full list of things I did was this;
Run every executable in the DFO steam folder,
DFO.exe
LauncherUpdater.exe
NeopleLauncher.exe
The last two looked like they were trying to reinstall the game, so I closed out of them quickly.
None of those worked, so I tried verifying the game files after that, and then my game started working.
EDIT: Closing out of steam altogether and relaunching it as an adminstrator appears to have done the trick. My full process was that first step, verifying the game files, then running the game. I can confirm that I'm in game and my steam account is accessible.
This won't work for us as we can't even register. You already have an account and therefore are having a different problem, not the one stated on this thread.
I just contacted neople support and got the reply below :
"Greetings Valued Customer,
Thank you for contacting us.
We would like to inform you that there's a problem with our registration and payment system on Steam and it will be fixed as soon as possible.
For news regarding updates in the game, you may visit our official website: http://www.dfoneople.com/ or like and follow our facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/dfoglobal.
We can only ask for your patience and understanding at this time.
Should you have any other concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us again.
Best regards,
Dungeon Fighter Online Global Support Team"
So all we can do is wait...
Seems like we have to wait.
