Will there be options to modify any of the following:
-U.I., changing the style to fit the theme of the creator's VN; I'm currently in the middle of designing my own U.I. for my project, so this is the forefront of my requests for potential engines.
-Text Box, changing the style of the text box and/or having more than one style of text box appear in a scene - which means different text input for different text boxes, unless we are able to position where the text is output in the scene.
-Clickable areas to progress through X, where X can be any of the following: text, animations, menu layers, etc. I envision a project where the textbox takes 15% of the window, the scene itself 35%, and an ever-changing stylized "menu" where sub-events and sub-scenes simultaneously take place is the remaining 50%. These values are not set in stone, as I'm still ironing out what "works" in terms of my avant-garde presentation; but I would very much like the ability to dictate what parts of the screen are clickable, and what clicking certain parts of the screen does in terms of progressing the VN.
-Adding buttons to the standard menu, which goes in tandem with my design idea above as I'll want to create different buttons that perform different functions when pressed through the always on screen menu.
-Clickable text through the text box, which is something I've seen in VNs such as "Princess Evangile" and "Root Double", where clicking colored text makes something happen - most likely taking the user to a dictionary entry of the colored text, or progressing through an alternate conversation path.
These are my "top-priority" questions for the engine, and I will most likely succeed through the majority of these with scripting, but anything the engine can do for me in that regard will certainly be appreciated in terms of saving time. Once these questions are answered, I'll have another bevy of questions to send your way.
Thanks!
Our software provides 'visual programming' but probably not the one you're thinking of if you're referring to Unreal Engine's blueprinting.
It's possible! We encourage the use of variables and/or switches! We plan to go in-depth later!
@Vox like we have talked about in twitter, we cannot reveal much info as of now. Once we can we will. :)
Yep thats very true thats why i resorted to commissioning the characters
