Character sprite resizing !
Dear devs, VNM is a lot of fun to play with. However, there's one thing that bugs me lately: inability to resize game characters sprites with a mouse.
Righ now we can move and position characters with a mouse, but not resize them on the fly. I know that we can use "Zoom" feature for resizing, but it's a really clunky way, especially if you want to use high-res characters.

Other VN products already have this option on board, for example in TyranoBuilder you can easily resize characters on the fly with a mouse! If a much cheaper software can do that, so should a more expensive VNM.

Mouse resizing is a GREAT feature and I beg you to consider adding it in the closest update. Seriously, it's something that will make creator's life so much more comfortable while using VNM! :)

Hi, I put this on the list of requests :)

But I just want to say that you should only import high-res characters if you really display them at high-res at some point in your game. If you import a character with 1200x2200 in size for example but only display that character at half-size 600x1100 and never zoom in it is a waste of memory & performance. Then it makes more sense to resize the image outside the editor.

I mean it is useful for zooming effects without blurring, definitely. Like if you want to zoom into a characters face or into the scene (Zoom Screen command) and don't want any blurring/pixelate. So for such purposes, ok it makes definitely sense to make the resizing easier.

Hi, Kentou

Yes, you've got the idea right: mouse resizing would be great for zooming in/out and placing characters correctly in the scene. May be you can allow moving characters with a mouse while zooming, this can be helpful too.
Looking forward for the implementation of the mouse resizing feature! :D
