Sound glitch if PC goes afk

If I leave the room and my PC goes AFK so I have to press a button to return to the game, the sound doesn't work anymore. Just for the game, tried switching sound sources, muting and un-muting but the only fix I can seem to find is quitting and reloading. Which is normally fine unless I'm doing long item world runs.

Anyone else have the issue and know of way to fix without closing the game?
If not I guess I'll just have to alter the time it takes for my PC to go AFK just while the games running.
