Can master learn all skills from student?

Played few hours and a question, I let Adell have a student, thief. But when let them stand next each other in combat, Adell can't use thief skill "health",there is no option. Wonder master can learn all skills or specific skills? thanks a lot

Short answer, no.

Quotting myself from a similar topic:

"You can't learn everything through the Master/Student relationship, only generic magic spells (fire, wind, ice, star, heal, espoir and their upgrades) and buffs/debuffs (again, only the generic ones from healers and mages/skulls)."

Eventually you'll unlock a mechanic that allows you to use unique abilities from monster units for a limited amount of turns, but that's about it.
