Easy mode or cheats?

I beat the PS2 version a long time ago and I'm thinking about getting the pc version so I have a digital copy of the game. That being said I would just like to play it for the story and not for the challange. Is there an easy mode or cheats to make the game more easy for that purpose?

You can start with Axel mode by putting your cursor on Start at the title screen and inputting I,J,L,I,J,L,K (using the default keyboard controls). Axel Mode has several Dark World maps that you can cheese, like 1-4, 3-3, and 3-4. Look for a guide.

Adell mode also have a Dark World map early on that's pretty good as well. The bonuses/rewards aren't as high as the aforementioned ones, but are still more than enough to carry you through the story.

The "How to Disgaea 2 101/Grinding: The Game" guide seems to be pretty good (I personally haven't used that one since I was already familiar enough with the game), but it's pretty extensive. If you're only interested in clearing the main story(ies) then the ones mentioned previously will be more than enough.
