Report a translation problem
It's in fact much faster to go through your R40 item (especially if you're not going to perfect it) and get a new one with the right rarity than hoping to get collectors. And if it's items you cannot get from the Item God 2 (like Usagi's Journal, Makai Wars, etc.) you can always sell them and get them the regular way again next cycle.
Here's the topic I've created regarding Teachers and Mediators, if anyone's interested. Again, this was tested on the PS2 version, but I don't think there's any difference with the spawning of the specialists.
