Using Sword for example: If Blade Rush had the same power as a character specific Atk based move, and the character used both, the two should deal the same damage, within reason(enemy def, random variance, etc).
With Fist, there will be some damage gap between character and weapon specials, since weapon are (Atk+Spd)/2 for the offensive stat total, while character are just the listed stat, Atk for DL Hanako, but the gap will favor what you *want* it to favor.
Uou, that explains everything. Thanks!!! And actually thanks for all! You help me quite a lot, even when it was on Disgaea 1. :D
The only thing that bothers me is Sexy Beam. I saw on a website, and it might be wrong, but it's modifier was listes as 260%. Seems a little too huge for me, but for sure it does a lot more damage then Big Bang on a 0% fire res monster. Might be because of the formula (att + spd)/2.
Sexy Beam would be like an AoE for fire resistance foes. Wasn't for Sexy Beam, and I would go speed all the way.
