Easy, you go into the summoning experiments and go to I think the one titled "The Strongest Guy", The DLC characters are sadly not incredibly story involved, although they do def say some things when you get them, and every so often they seem to comment on story points, plus they obviously each have their own catchphrases, like normal.

But that button scheme matches 100% the PSP one, other than 2 extra triggers as hotkeys for executing commands and ending a turn.

If you claimed to refund because Gig's JP voice can't hold a candle to his ENG one from Soul Nomad, I'd think you a teeny bit silly, but you'd have a valid point :P

Refunding over controls that you can change to what you want? That is silly and without a valid point :P

are you telling me they only use his japanese voice clips too? eww. why would anyone want that unless they are fluent in moonbabble?

Well, considering that at least you can use him, along with Dark Eclair and Miabell, which was some thing you couldn't do in the American console releases, it is still an upgrade.Those three characters where only available in the Japanese ports of the game. Due to issues that were never cleared out (some said space issues, some pointed out glitches due to animations or whatevs) the character were never implemented outside of the Japanese ports.

In the end, this was around 14-15 dollar game that already included each and every single one of the 10 DLC characters for free,, which is still a massive bargain, and a chance for people outside of Japan to use those characters that were never released in other ports..
