Adell he will be your main dude focus on leveling 1 character and that 1 character will carry you all the way

Remember to upgrade your item by going to dark assembly and upgrade the shop and buy all the highest gear you can get for your Adell and he will take basically zero damage

That's the cheese way but you could always do the proper way of training 3 character instead which will take a lot more time...

One fighter 1 healer 1 random

Healers are really nice, so make sure to bring your starting healer along. They get XP each time they heal someone, too, so if you make sure to have your healer DO something each turn she'll end up being your strongest character pretty soon. Give her a Muscle once you get hospital rewards, and Orbs for RES (magic defense + max SP, AND it's used to compute power of healing spells) and she's a nice tank that can keep both herself and others alive.

Also, once your healer hits Lv.10, you should be able to make an Acolyte, the tier 2 healer. They actually have pretty good affinity with swords, so if you don't have a dedicated sword user you could have Adell make an Acolyte, learn healing spells from her (always useful to have on your strongest character so they can heal themselves and focus on counterattacks, or just always have something useful to do), and have her do sword stuff for support.

Interesting... I'll keep that in mind.
I'm pretty sure that they get skill mastery points based on the number of targets, though, so your healing skill will get more powerful more quickly if you cast it on groups.

Train the main characters :3
Create attack classes and healers(I would prefer attack classes, since I'm an impatient person, but will think thrice before acting when the enemy team is stronger.)
Keep leveling up the main characters and some of them will have unique abilitites when they reach a certain level based on their second digit.
If you plan to delve into the Item World, Tink and a Geo Master ("Make an Old Man" bill or whatever it is called). The Geo Master class is basically a nerfed Star mage, but they can change geo effects, and they also learn healing spells so they can serve as an extra healer. One of my favourite classes, and they become more useful in later games in the series (not that such information is particularly relevant here).
