And XpanD is right, if it's anything like Etna mode, it will also essentially spoil story elements.
guess i might start over then.
It's been a while for me too, but if I recall correctly it ramps up VERY quickly. I've also seen a few people complain about the difficulty of the last few missions.
1. The only tutorials in Axel mode are for the new mechanics (Magichange & Toss and Pass). If you haven't played a Disgaea game before, you'll have to figure everything else out yourself
2. Axel mode gives you Magichange, but it ALSO gives enemies Magichange. I've already seen it used in both story levels and the item world.
3. As mentioned the levels are scaled down, but Axel mode throws a lot of geo panel stuff at you early on that makes things difficult regardless of levels. I'm currently stuck on level 2-3, where all the enemies are archers on geo panels with Enemy Boost 50% / Heal 20% / Clone / No Close Combat / Evade, and I think a sixth one that I don't recall. Regardless, those make stages a lot more complicated than early Adell mode ones.
What is this toss and pass? Is it in the regular mode or do I have to do axel mode for it?
