They are VERY useful in the item world. A couple of high level fist users can bulldoze through the levels.
At least one fist user is required for the item world anyway, to punch monsters off the exit panels. Although, you already come with a decent one by default (Adell).
Thief steal chance is not affected by the char hit, only the hit on the stealing hand counts for anything. you're better off just having a high level thief with a lvl 25 thief lover.
Fist skills are amazing though, and I was never aware of anyone not using them.
Big Bang alone is amazing, in this game, it literally lives up to it's name, and Adell destroying and recreating the universe every time he punches is pretty damn awesome. :)
How can a Human cause a Big bang with his fists did he do the One punch man training? (yes I'm Aware that Disgaea 2 Curse memories came out first) also no spoilers
I don't think it is, anyhow.
I also wouldn't worry about the universe thing either, this is Disgaea we're talking about. Laharl loves crashing down meteors big enough to kill off the dinosaurs, others use abilities that make Cyrax's destroy the world Fatality look normal and tame, etc.
I'm not concern about the attacks Dood. Prinnies deserved thier Respect dood. Beside the Ham is there any Ham better than GORDON DEFENDER OF EARTH!!!!! in D2?
While Fists aren't capable of dishing out as much raw damage as Swords, they make up for it in being useful for knocking objects around (this includes geo symbols). If I recall correctly, you can hit a symbol that is currently not on an invincible panel with a special that will knock it onto a panel that does have 'invincible', and it will be destroyed, starting a chain. Again, that's more useful in later iterations of the series where Mighty Enemy effect comes into play (because I think Mighty Enemy effect is Invincibility + No Lifting effect). Still useful in general, because you can save yourself a character throwing the symbol.
Plus the usual 'can knock enemies off the gates' business.
And speed increasing your evasiveness is always nice.
