GAMEPLAY LAGGING

Just started playing this game and for some serious reasons unknown to me, the gameplay is so slow on my 6G RAM Windows 10 PC. Any help pls?

Y'know, if you click the "Guides" button at the top, you may find one that has a compilation of solutions to (Almost) EVERY problem you may have in Storm 1.

Thanks for the reply. My AMD Radeon R5 graphics and Power settings are already set to high performance but it still lags.

There are more fixes on that guide than that alone. I highly recommend you actually give it a read on all of the lag fixes.

hi) open the folder with the game, and find there the config.ini file, open this file and put the value as here and save:

This is such a terrible fix. Here, let me fix that for you:

ssaa=0
windowed=0
vsync=0
fxaa=0
msaa=0
shadowQuality=0
motionBlur=0
glare=0
smaa=0

No need to force him to have a specific resolution, especially if he has a lower one. No need to also change aspect ratio as that does nothing for quality. Same goes with showCursor.

Either way, my guide has this fix, among many other things to try. Your post literally adds nothing to the table.

Lag has reduced just a bit with these settings and I've tried all the possible guide fixes but its still slow. Any other suggestions pls?

Did you see the portion of "Can my PC run this game?" (Or whatever it's called) The guide asks you to check that, y'know.

No but I see "i don't have the minimum requirements", which of course I have more than that already.

The only time the game got a bit fast was at a very low resolution
(640x480)

There's a difference between meeting the minimum requirements and exceeding them. Meeting the minimum requirements means you can play the game at minimum settings. So now are you gonna post your specs or not?

AMD A8-7410 APU with AMD Radeon R5 Graphics 2.20GHz
6.00GB RAM 64-bit OS, x64-based processor with 700GB storage

Since in all Storm games the animations are bound to the framerate, the game will slow down drastically, if you don't hit the 60 fps limit at all times.

Just put IT on 30 fps , you'll not have frame drops again
