How do I even progress . . .

Bought the first 3 on my ps4 to experience some naruto nostalgia.
I fight Kakashi and move on to get told i need "mission exp" to start the next mission and somehow i dont have enough to continue? What kind of stupid system is this, it's literally the second mission and I'm locked out of it. .

Okay let's see what they give me as options . .S and A rank missions I'm some how able to start (and get destroyed at) or the crap grind D rank ones where I gotta break 200 things?

What am i missing here? Was I spos to 3 star the Kakashi mission?

Again, this system is flawed and already makes me want to quit the game but that screws up me trying to play the games story thru.

It's pretty easy. When you complete some story arc mission, you get mission characters in Konoha, you can see them on the map with !?. They give you missions ranked D, C, B, A, S. The best option is to do those ranked missions as soon as they become available to get mission exp. As for breaking things missions or walking in Konoha, they are passive, you can get them done easily by collecting scrolls which you need to unlock new jutsu for characters. You can consider bonus conditions as a ng+. The system is not flawed, it is scuffed for sure since it basically forces you to spend 24 hours in game, but definitely not flawed.

Considering I only finished the very first mission of Naruto vs Kakashi to be hit with a wall, and one of the only missions I found was one vs itachi where he kicks my ass. Seems pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ flawed to me.

Why have an exp system at all?! Just let the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ player play the campaign and have side missions.

Makes 0 sense to have a ♥♥♥♥ system like this.
