Oh! I think I understood. You didn't get that I was not talking about the US dubbing (Sean Schemmel if my memory is good), I meant the original japanese one.

Also, a lot of women dub kids in anime though, nothing unusual. Even in France, Kid Goku, Kid Gohan, Kid Goten and Kid Trunks are all dubbed by the same woman. And Guess what, in France, Naruto is dubbed by a woman too.

You didn't broke any party (if I understood the saying correctly), you might be one of the last manga fans to discover it.

This is because grown women sound closer to young people than grown men, usually. Naruto's VA is a woman in English and Japanese, and many characters that have a higher-pitched voice typically have female voice actors.
