For the people playing through Storm 1-4, may I have an opinion?
I never played through Storm 1 fully. I played it a few times with a friend since I didn't have a PS3, but how was your experience going through it again/for the first time?

With my rose colored glasses, I remember having sweet memories of playing this game, but playing it now, it isn't very good XD

Could you even play through it fully? Are you planning on 100% the game? Stopping with story mode and switching to Storm 2?

For me, I had every intention of 100% the game after playing through the story, but I just couldn't stomach it. I was way too spoiled with Generations and up. This game... was an adventure. Reminded me of my first time playing Ultimate Ninja before I got my hands on Ultimate Ninja 2 and said screw that noise.

But I would love to hear from other fans of the series, makes me interested in your feedback on the game that started off the Storm.

I've played all the storm games to completion, but with the release of Legacy I'm planning on recording a 100% walkthrough of 1, 2, 3, Rev and 4. It's given me a good reason to do so, and I'm a bit of a completionist.

I do agree that 2,3 and 4 have better combat gameplay and 2 and 3 have a better story mode (4 sucks on that), storm 1 is a game I really enjoy for it's freedom, the way you can move around konoha, jump on rooftops, climb on walls, it feels just way more immersive and is super fun.
I was so disapointed when storm 2 released and I saw that the freeroam was not like in storm 1 anymore, ruined with fixed camera angles...

I play Storm 1 mostly for its gameplay. The story mode is alright if you enjoy either messing around in the village or if you enjoy finding Konohamaru over and over again. All jokes aside, it's a pretty good game. The port's a bit wonky, but verifying game cache or restarting your PC usually fixes it.
