exit back to game selection screen?

How do I do this? I have no idea how to exit Mega man 9. I had to bring up my task bar and manually shut the game down.

There's a main menu you can bring up and then exit manually. The key will depend on the controller you use. For an XBOX 360 controller it's LT.

Sorry to necro, but I'd like to add that the quit option won't show immediately when you open the menu, and you have to scroll down to find it

I really appreciate the hints on this threads. Just bought the game on sale today, and didn't see how to do this.

Also, when in the game menu, if you just hit 'up' on your controller/keyboard (default menu selection is the top item), you don't have to scroll all the way to the bottom, the menu will wrap taking you to the quit option.

You may want to consider refunding it; in case you didn't know, this has DRM that makes it unplayable unless you're connected to the Internet. Literal insanity.
