You have to unlock them by beating the games. That's what I read in some commentaries.

Again, just do the code on each game title screen and done, you have the DLC content right away, what is so hard about that?

I'd just like to note the fact that the DLC was available from the get-go (after you bought it, of course) for the original releases. You never had to beat the game first or enter a faulty code.

I love ya Capcom, but this is pretty stupid.

Players can unlock the bonus DLC content for Mega Man 9 and Mega Man 10 by completing these respective games. If however, you would like access to the bonus content prior to completing the game, the unlock code for the DLC can be input at the Mega Man 9 and Mega Man 10 title screens. The unlock code for the game is:

Up Down Left Right Left Right Down Up Up Down

The above code should be inputted on the title screen for each game (Mega Man 9 and Mega Man 10). You will know the code worked if you hear a chime after correctly inputting the above code.
