Everyone has a duo - that one person who you would go to hell and back for (literally.) But how tight is that link? 

It's time to find out, fellow damned souls, for a brand-new 2v2 mode is now available in Chained Together! As if the pressure of pixel perfect leaping while being mocked by a lousy imp wasn't enough, now you're pitted against each other to see who can climb the highest in 30 minutes. 

What's a challenge without style? Alongside this update, two new outfits – the American Inmate Jumpsuit and Medieval Prisoner – have been added, completely free of charge. You need to look the part, after all!  

Want to show off as you climb? How about a Golden Chain? This chain is available to purchase for all players for £3.49/$3.99/€3.99. 

But who is creating all of this cool stuff, I hear you ask? Who stoked up the forge and began adding new links to the chain? 

We’d like to introduce you all to Lab42 Games[www.lab42.games], the new development team who will be working on Chained Together for future patches and content updates. 

At Secret Mode, we’ve had a wonderful longstanding relationship with Lab42 Games, from working together on original titles like the recently released A Storied Life: Tabitha to handling ports and updates for games like A Little to the Left and Wobbledogs. We’re excited to see what they’ll create in future updates and we have no doubt that they’re the perfect fit for Chained Together! 

As part of this change, the splash screen when you open the game has now changed to include Lab42 Games as the developers. 

We’d also like to thank everyone who has taken the time to give feedback on what they love about Chained Together, what isn’t working for them, and what changes they’d like to see made in future updates. Here are some known issues with this version:

• A player's arms can glitch through the steering wheel during the Car Race in Race Mode.

• More than two players can be shown in a single car during the Car Race in Race Mode or bodyless heads can be shown on the back seat.

• Players of one team can enter both cars in the Car Race during Race Mode, with one person becoming invisible and having their controls limited. You have been warned!

• Players can become temporarily slowed down when another player uses a teleporter in Race Mode.

• The tips pop-up around the nearest safe location can incorrectly display in Race Mode. There is no safe location mwahaha!

• When using the magnet at around 1300m, the screen can temporarily become cluttered with items, blocking the view of the player.

• A second spike can appear from the trap at 244m if a player has fallen down from a large height - so don’t fall!

• The chain between 2 players can be removed after passing through teleports, if this occurs then players can become chained to random partners or all together.

• There is a bug where if both players on a team are not on a teleporter, the opposing team can interrupt the teleportation.
