What the actual ♥♥♥♥ would adding an option that doesn't necessarily have to apply to you do you disagree with?
It'd be an option, as I suggested.
It's the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ guy you micromanage that does the calculating.
Close minded much?
And my opinion is just that, just an opinion.
Dont be so snowflakey butthurt by an opinion that opposes your own, makes you look like the close minded one.
And what do you know of the "Dev's Vision" of the game?
Also, look up the definition of close minded. Me saying your opinion is close minded isn't hypocritical.
One of these is the ship ID book which you can ID the ship with. Once you have ID'd the ship you can use a few other tools to figure out targeting info.
The ruler button is the stadimeter which lets you estimate range.
The clock button lets you estimate the ship's speed.
The protractor button lets you adjust a dial to input the estimated angle to the target (this is done solely by your own judgement with no ingame tools)
Finally at the bottom are a set of input boxes that automatically get filled when you use these tools, but you can also click on them and simply type in information (This is handy for just punching in the speed of a ship if you already estimated the speed the entire convoy is going). Once all this info is put in you can flood tubes, fire away, and hope you got your stuff right.
In addition the map view actually has a few tools to figure things out old-school Silent Hunter style, though depending on your perferences towards realism this can be pretty cheaty since its a clear bird's eye 3D view of the ships so long as you have them sighted.
