Possible to manually aim Torpedos?
Are there difficulty settings in the works?

I like to manually aquire and and set the dials to shoot torpedos. Like in Silent hunter 3

One of these is the ship ID book which you can ID the ship with. Once you have ID'd the ship you can use a few other tools to figure out targeting info.

The ruler button is the stadimeter which lets you estimate range.
The clock button lets you estimate the ship's speed.
The protractor button lets you adjust a dial to input the estimated angle to the target (this is done solely by your own judgement with no ingame tools)

Finally at the bottom are a set of input boxes that automatically get filled when you use these tools, but you can also click on them and simply type in information (This is handy for just punching in the speed of a ship if you already estimated the speed the entire convoy is going). Once all this info is put in you can flood tubes, fire away, and hope you got your stuff right.

In addition the map view actually has a few tools to figure things out old-school Silent Hunter style, though depending on your perferences towards realism this can be pretty cheaty since its a clear bird's eye 3D view of the ships so long as you have them sighted.

I would disagree, if you want to do every single persons job you should play SH3. I think the idea behind this title was to give you a true captains feeling. One that has to rely on his crew to do a proficient job and pray you have trained your crew well. It's about making the right decisions to the right people as a true captain must. Rather than being the super man doing the actual work of many men at once.

What the actual ♥♥♥♥ would adding an option that doesn't necessarily have to apply to you do you disagree with?

It'd be an option, as I suggested.

It's the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ guy you micromanage that does the calculating.

Close minded much?

Because changing that, changes the experience the devs intend to deliver. Always someone who wants the game made their way. Those are the kinds of things that should never be made an "option".
And my opinion is just that, just an opinion.
Dont be so snowflakey butthurt by an opinion that opposes your own, makes you look like the close minded one.

And what do you know of the "Dev's Vision" of the game?

It's a difficulty option that'll open the game to a less casual demographic that could increase sales.

Also, look up the definition of close minded. Me saying your opinion is close minded isn't hypocritical.

Manually calculate torpedo course is already on the game. Follow what Galaga said but beware, once you go manual, you can't go back to automatic anymore so if you miscalculate it then there is no going back.

Yep its already in the game, Here is a stream from TMTC covering manual torpedo solutions.
