How to scuttle my boat

The war is over. I did not surrender, but am off the coast of Argentina. How do I scuttle my boat?

When you get really near the coast, the option will show up

I entered Buenos Aries on June 6, 1945 and surrendered. It was the only option that showed up.

If you get close to a port, the scuttle option becomes surrender i think.

You gotta be like 2km away from the shore and not too close to the port of Bueons Aires. It pops up

"Surrender" message doesn't show for me anywhere. I don't know, how surrender uboat. Sure, I tried this after 8 may 1945.

i had a long run with this ...
i better share, that others dont have to struggle ...
if you not getting the "surrender" button, just save the game while around the harbor pictogram, quit/restart the game, load the stand and youll get it.
