I cannot make screenshots by pressing F10

I have checked that F10 is configured to make screenshots in the keyboard configuration.
When I press F10, the game freezes for a moment, as though the screenshot would be in progress, but I see no indication that the screenshot is being done.
When I leave the game, there is no new screenshot.
I'm playing vanilla, no mods at all.
I had been doing screenshots in the past, but now there seems to be a problem.

I have tried making a screenshot in other Steam game, and I could do it.
Am I the only one experiencing this?

Same, F12 , but there is a two second pause that is sort of new.

F12 is the Steam shortcut for taking screenshots.
If the steam overlay is enabled, F12 will do a screenshot.
I enabled the overlay and F12 is not capturing the screen either.
I disabled the Steam overlay and tried with F10, but no luck.

I have tried disabling the Nvidia Experiance App, but it does not work either.
Nor F10 neither F12.

Hmm. I wanted to make a screenshot of two guys ragdolling out of the plane attacking the Uboat in the tutorial, but apparently I cannot.

Try to Google why Steam will not take screenshots.

That still doesn’t explain why you can take them in other games.

I doubt that this game is doing anything different with pictures than you’re other games.

Steam -settings - In game shows your screenshot key F12 is the default.

Whe the bug with the HDR happened, I started changing settings, and I disabled the Steam Overlay only for this game. This had the effect that screenshots were working for the other games, but not for Uboat.
F10 apparently does not work, as the Steam overlay is taking over it.
